A Gentle Guide to Baby's First Foods

The 7 Easy Baby Solids (Beginner-Friendly)

Start with single, soft, homemade foods:

  1. Rice or ragi porridge

  2. Moong dal mash

  3. Mashed banana

  4. Steamed apple puree

  5. Carrot or pumpkin puree

  6. Soft khichdi (rice + dal)

  7. Plain curd (after tolerance, usually from ~7 months)
